Carbocolor in Concrete – ASTM C979

Carbocolor was tested to ASTM C979 – Standard Specification for Pigments for Integrally Colored Concrete.

Thermax® N990 was added to a polystyrene foam to evaluate its impact on processing, physical, and thermal insulation properties.

Thermax® N990 was added to an EPDM compound to evaluate compound dispersion and processing properties.

Thermax® N990 was added to an NBR compound to evaluate the influence on dispersion and tensile failure distribution properties.

Thermax® N990CG was added to a CR wiper blade formulation leading to improvements in dispersion and viscosity.

Thermax® N990 and Carbocolor are compared to black iron oxide in concrete and display superior weathering resistance and tint strength.

Thermax® N990 was added to an EPDM PEM cell stack gasket formulation leading to improvements in processing, physical, and aging properties.

Thermax® N990 was added to EPDM compounds leading to improvements in physical properties and flame resistance.

Thermax® N990 was added to PVC composites leading to an improvement in weathering resistance and impact resistance.

Thermax® N990 was added to HDPE film formulations with excellent dispersion. A black color with blue undertone was observed in the resulting films.
