September 20 – October 10, 2024

The Cancarb Carbon and Power Plant will be offline from September 20, 2024 for planned maintenance. As a result, waste heat is being exhausted intermittently through reactor bypass stacks to atmosphere. This outage involves major maintenance projects for both the Carbon and Power Plants. The maintenance work is expected to be completed by approximately October 10th at which time the main bypass stack will be closed and the waste heat directed to steam generation.
